ELVIS’ BRONZE SUNGLASSES 1962-1967

Description

Product Description

I purchased these dark bronze, gradient tint sunglasses from Ms. Debbie Stallings Moreno. Ms. Moreno returned from school one afternoon in 1967 and there was a black limousine parked in the front of her home. She rushed in to ask her mother whose car that was? She told her to go to the stables and see her father.

Her father, unknown to her was selling her horse “Sugarfoot” and she became very upset, and told him you can’t do that! She looked to see who he was selling it to and she immediately recognized Elvis Presley and Priscilla. One afternoon Elvis was in the cab of Mr. Stallings truck and he left these sunglasses in the front seat. The following day Mr. Stallings wanted to return these sunglasses to Elvis but he said “just keep ‘em”.

Fully documented from EP Memorabilia; Original owner; Pricilla Presley; Newspaper article; photos and additional information pertaining  to this piece.
