Re: ELVIS’ WHITE LEAD SPIKED ROOF ACCENT FROM HIS HILLCREST HOME
I purchased this piece from Mr. Travis Payne, please see scan of his Letter of Authenticity. This white spike was located on the side of the 1174 Hillcrest home that Elvis owned from 1967-1971. Similar ones were used in the front but made of wood.
Mr. Payne purchased this above item from Mr. Richard A. Kay, a caretaker who was responsible for the maintenance of Elvis Presley’s former home that he owned at 1174 Hillcrest home located in Trousdale Estates in Beverly Hills.
The home was recently sold to Mr. Peter Morton owner of Hard Rock Cafe & Hotels. Mr. Kay paid a demo contractor for selected items that were removed from the home.
This item is the original removed from the Elvis’ Hillcrest home.
Letter of Authenticity from Mr. Kay: Travis Payne and EP Memorabilia.
Buyer pays for shipping, handling and insurance. Once Elvis leaves the building it is the responsibility of the buyer. If you would like to select shipping via other services with tracking # please request and I will calculate final total.
